Early last winter, Zosia contacted me about a potential collaborative shoot with an event stylist, Heather, who was visiting family in Hong Kong for the Christmas holiday. I immediately jumped on board; there was a real buzz of excitement between the two of them, as they openly shared their passion for their crafts, the growing potential for creativity in Hong Kong, and the vision for this particular shoot.

The direction was a light and dreamy mood, filled with hazy creams and whites, vintage gold accents, soft peaches and grey-blue tones. We spent the day together, as Heather and Alice worked their magic with the flowers and table linens, and as Zosia calmly moved from scene to scene capturing the events from different angles and daylights.

Today, I'm thrilled to share our finished work, as featured on Style My Pretty this week (link to full gallery).
From Heather: 'Zosia Zacharia Photography and I wanted to juxtapose elements of an organic, delicate Tuscan-inspired wedding with Hong Kong, a dazzling concrete jungle of the East.  We really want to inspire the brides who love the look of a vineyard wedding, but live in a place lacking outdoor venues, that it can certainly be created with the right, refined details…a vine covered Chiavarina, long Alfresco harvest table, burned tapered candles and an extensive amount of brassware.  We created a statement arrangement to showcase the season’s best with an organic, but elegant way.  Cascading soft draped linens were used to curate that feeling of a leisurely, late summer dinner party.  The hand written paper suites in that soft, misty grey by Life at Studio B. truly highlights the entire theme and sets a sophisticated tone.'

Thank you for everything, Zosia and Heather! May our paths cross again someday soon xx
