For a December wedding on the water.
It was a bright, misty, picture-perfect day by the Pacific Ocean. Simple and intimate. Guests were greeted with steaming hot chocolate and marshmallows, an open fire, and oversized, wooden banquet tables draped with thick, evergreen garlands. The girls got ready at home over homemade scones and tea, the boys got ready in the guest house over a game of hockey. My sister married her best friend this winter, and the day couldn't have suited each of them more perfectly.
Place cards and menus were created on seeded paper (basil, rosemary, and oregano!) for guests to take home; a help-yourself dessert table was piled high with berry-hued, swirling, earl grey cupcakes which were (very nearly) too beautiful to eat. (Click on images to enlarge.)
