So in the end architecture is about emotions?

Xavier: Definitely. A house where you have to enter through a huge hallway with a gigantic staircase, with perfectly smooth concrete walls that have to be kept clinically clean – this is ridiculous! Architecture has to emante [sic] the joy of living. It should captivate you. It should make you feel, even when a room is full of ugly furniture. A space that makes you forget about all this: that is good architecture.
